These are unsigned development packages, not signed public releases. GitHub sign-in may be required. Download the ZIP, extract it and select the correct DMG inside.

Open successful run #2 → Artifacts → desktop-ntg-macos-updated. Select the x64 DMG for Intel or arm64 DMG for Apple Silicon. Do not use unsigned test files unless you understand and accept the macOS warning.

Install Name The Game on your Mac

Choose the right installer for your Mac. A signed public Mac release is not yet available. GitHub Actions installers are private test builds, not verified public downloads.

Security: Do not disable Gatekeeper or remove macOS quarantine. Only install files you obtained from a source you trust; wait for our signed release for normal public installation.

1. Check your Mac processor

Choose Apple menu → About This Mac.

2. Install

  1. Download an official, verified installer when available.
  2. Open the DMG and drag Name The Game into Applications.
  3. Eject the mounted installer volume, then open the app from Applications.

3. If macOS blocks the app

Check the exact warning. “Not supported on this Mac” usually means the wrong processor build. “Developer cannot be verified” means the package is not properly signed/notarized. Do not bypass security for unknown downloads.
