XP, AMC™ Provisional and the Athlete Development Record
The purpose of XP and AMC™ Provisional is to help an athlete turn repeated, documented work into evidence people can review. The numbers support the record; they do not replace the athlete, the evidence or the coach’s judgment.
XP documents activity; AMC™ Provisional summarizes documented development inputs
XP is one signal produced by documented activity such as training and other platform-recognized actions. AMC™ Provisional is a separate composite development score that uses documented inputs, including XP-related inputs, to make an athlete record easier to understand and audit. Neither is a salary, transfer price, contract value or promise of future earnings.
- XP rewards and summarizes recorded activity; verification quality still matters.
- AMC™ Provisional is not simply the athlete’s XP total and is not based only on social followers.
- The current AMC methodology is labeled Provisional because its weights have not yet completed independent audit/lock.
- Coaches, sponsors and organizations should review the underlying evidence, not treat one number as the athlete.
XP and AMC™ Provisional can improve visibility and explain documented development. They do not guarantee selection, sponsorship, a scholarship, a transfer, income or a professional contract.
The HUGS ID framework is built around athlete-controlled, portable records
The HUGS ID framework treats the athlete’s verified development history as the athlete’s record, with scoped sharing rather than automatic access for every club, scout or sponsor. Public visibility and private access are separate decisions, and minors add guardian controls.
- Athletes can review the development information attached to their identity.
- Inaccurate information can be flagged for documented correction.
- Records are designed to remain portable across participating organizations.
- A sponsor or scout should not receive private records merely because they support or evaluate the athlete.
